When you deal with life and death situations within your family, you learn quick that the only thing that matters in this life is family and living so you can be together forever. I can relate to how all your attention goes to the one who has the struggles that are obvious, but like you said, anything can happen at anytime to any of our loved ones. It is so important to cherish every moment. And it's okay to cry when things are hard---it just shows that you have a heart full of love for your family.
